Making government
work for all of us
“Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”
– John Wesley
Growing up without a father, Patrick and his sister watched their single-mother struggle to find work that paid livable wages and consistent housing where they could build community. Driven by the motto to “do all the good you can,” throughout his career as a civil rights lawyer and four years on the Hyattsville City Council Patrick has championed issues like education, health care, housing, LGBTQ rights, immigrant protections, racial justice, and expanding access to the voting booth. As your State Delegate, Patrick will continue to be a champion for the people of District 22.

District 22 deserves elected leaders who share our values, work relentlessly to serve our communities, and have experience making government work for everyone – especially people it is not designed to serve. As a civil rights lawyer, policy expert, and honest public servant, Patrick is ready to deliver results in the House of Delegates by prioritizing:

Keep those masks on! Indoor mask mandate extended to March. ... See MoreSee Less
Prince George’s Co. extends mask mandate into March | WTOP News

The Prince George’s County Council voted unanimously on Tuesday to extend the county’s COVID-19 emergency declaration, and its mask mandate for indoor public spaces, to March 9.
“It’s a juggle, and it’s a struggle,” Paschall, who is also running for a state delegate seat, said. “My kids were really frustrated a lot of the time because their technology didn’t work, or they couldn’t find the pieces that they need, or they took a longer break than they realized they were supposed to.”
Still, Paschall and other parents have said the circumstances were better than the alternative: sending students into school buildings as omicron spread rapidly throughout the D.C. region.

After a temporary two-week transition to virtual learning, students in Prince George’s County, Maryland, return to the classroom Tuesday.I want to know where I can go to hold MCPS accountable. I am a spouse of a teacher who has contracted COVID from being subjected to unsafe working conditions. Because of what my teacher wife was subjected too, my daughter, in-laws, and elderly neighbor's health have been compromised. Someone needs to be responsible, and I am prepared to bring legal charges against the perpetrators. This is such chaos; we know my wife's Principal sent a recommendation to the MCPS superintendent that his school go virtual, and the superintendent ignored his recommendations. Giant improprieties have transpired here and I am prepared to take legal action.

First reporting deadline is today! Unlike some of my opponents who raise more than half their money from corporations and lobbyist PACs, I'm only taking donations from real people and from like-minded groups like labor unions and civil rights organizations.
But that means I need your help to show a grassroots campaign run by real people can outraise those who rely on corporations. Can you make a small contribution before midnight? bit.ly/paschallfor22

When I jumped into this race, I didn’t realize that some of my opponents raise more than half of their campaign contributions from private companies and corporate PACs. But I’m running a grassroots campaign for the people, not corporations.
I won’t take donations from corporations or lobbyist PACs. The only donations I will take are from real people and from like-minded groups like labor unions and civil rights organizations.
The January 12 campaign finance reporting deadline is an opportunity for transparency into each campaign and a test of a candidate's viability. The more community support we have, the more likely we are to grow our base of support and earn more voters. So your contribution before Wednesday's deadline will make a real difference in this campaign!
